Maronite flame teens
30 May 2023
Eight volunteers hold classes every Saturday afternoon for around 80 Parish high school students. They also organise social events throughout the year including a bonfire, retreat for spiritual growth and social interaction, WhatsApp group for the teens and their parents, and a hafle for the feast day of Saint Joseph.
Over the year, sessions were predominantly based on the Maronite seasons and Liturgical Cycle, with a focus on Gospel readings and discussions around the Mass and rosary. Each session featured question time to encourage teens to think more deeply about subjects.
